Property Management Accountant

We're seeking a dedicated Portfolio Accountant who has experience working with SKYLINE software. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential in this position. 


Duties include:

  • Processing daily deposits
  • Creating deposit detail, cash receipt journals, filing paper documentation
  • Processing move-ins/move-outs 
  • Client monthly billing
  • Bi-monthly check runs 
  • Generating monthly financials and accounting reports 
  • Monthly account reconciliations 
  • Working with site managers


Position Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in property management accounting .
  • Strong computer skills -- proficient in SKYLINE, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge in databases, spreadsheets, and analytical software.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet frequent deadlines, prioritize, and have strong organization, time management, and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Self directed and high attention to detail.
  • Degree or at least five years experience in Accounting.

Full Time Property Manager

We have several openings for Property Managers - Tax Credit, HUD, or similar experience is beneficial for our current openings.  Email us for more details.  We are looking to add several members to our team who have experience processing affordable paperwork, are highly organized, and enjoy fostering and working in a positive environment. 

Duties include:

  • Overseeing maintenance staff
  • Leasing
  • Basic accounting (handling money, collecting & tracking rents)
  • Keeping resident rental records
  • Working with vendors
  • Resident relations (processing resident concerns & maintenance requests)
  • Working with resident services personnel
  • Completing Tax Credit (Section 42) certification paperwork

Job requirements:

  • Strong math skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good time management
  • Computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Strong crisis management skills
  • Previous experience as an Apartment Manager
  • At least one year Tax Credit (section 42) experience

Knowledge of building systems, elevators, alarms, trash compactors, water systems, security cameras, fob systems and preventative maintenance are a plus.

Experienced Maintenance Technicians

We are hiring several Maintenance Technicians for a variety of properties.  Some positions are roving while others are dedicated to a specific property.  Openings are as far South as Albany and include offerings in Tigard, close-in to downtown Portland, and in Southeast Portland.  Contact us for further details!

Job Description:

- Review punch list and complete items in a timely manner or as instructed
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required
- Complete all resident maintenance/repair requests in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize a P.O. system for purchases
- Accompany all necessary building inspections and walk-throughs for owners, management staff, brokers, appraisers and other interested parties
- Be available during established on-call schedule every other week
- oversee one other maintenance technician
- Assist landscape contractor with grounds maintenance, seasonal pool maintenance and upkeep
- Maintain and monitor interior and exterior common area cleanliness including but not limited to: snow and ice removal, landscaping, litter patrol, laundry rooms, parking lots, garbage areas, etc.

The successful applicant will be knowledgeable in all aspects of apartment maintenance including:
- Turnover work
- Repairs including basic electrical and plumbing
- Turnover and common area painting

Additionally, the successful applicant must:
- Have two years apartment maintenance experience
- Work with residents in a professional manner
- Possess strong communication and leadership skills
- Have excellent time management and organizational skills
- Be able to work with little supervision
- Have valid driver's license, vehicle and insurance
- Have a basic set of hand and electric tools

Knowledge of building systems, alarms, pool maintenance and preventative maintenance are all preferred.
